Proven experience in the day-to-day running of the farm and a firm grasp on financial management.

  • Innovation & Technology
A focus on modern systems—whether it’s precision agriculture, sustainable practices, or smart tech—that move the needle forward.

  • Farm Culture
A positive approach to the social and cultural aspects of farming, including safety, community, and work-life balance.

Who is Eligible?

Applicants must be running the farm in their own right either as an individual or in a partnership.
All sectors of farming are included and competition is open to full time or part-time farmers.

Why is Clonmel Credit Union Doing This?

As a member-owned organisation, our goal is to invest back into the people who make our region thrive. We recognise that new entrants face significant barriers, from capital costs to the rapid pace of technological change. By providing this financial boost, we aim to:

Reduce Financial Burden

Providing a "leg up" for those early-stage investments.

Promote Best Practices

Encourage Succession

Supporting the vital transition of knowledge and energy into the Irish agricultural sector.
