⚽ Clonmel Credit Union Goals that Give Cup Raises Funds for Cancer Care Clonmel

A whole lot of fun — and, most importantly, a fantastic day of fundraising for Cancer Care Clonmel.

After some excellent matches, DS Electrical took home the Clonmel Credit Union Cup, while The Winning Dream were crowned winners of the Shield.

A huge congratulations to both teams, and well done to everyone who took part. Whether you lifted a trophy or not, every team played an important part in making the day such a success.

A huge thank you to our supporters

We would like to extend a massive thank you to Clonmel Town FC for providing us with the fantastic facilities for the day and for supplying referees for the tournament. We really appreciate their support in helping us make the event possible.

We made sure our players and supporters were kept fuelled with bananas, oranges and sweets, and and hydrated with plenty of water thanks to Glenpatrick.  Everyone enjoyed the tasty Burgers and Hotdogs from Bodega and Fire & Feast Catering.

We were delighted to have the support of TSDL, who kindly provided two tickets to Ireland's next home game as a prize. Congratulations to Mike Moloney, who played with Team Talbot, on winning the tickets — we hope you have a fantastic time!

Huge shout out to The Bike Marshalls and The Civil Defence for supporting us on the day.  Owen Lonergan DJ provided excellent tunes and kept everyone updated on the scores.  Thanks also to The Balloon Bar in Clonmel for the balloons.  We got great snaps of the event thanks to Siobhan Hewitt and Michael Boland.

Most importantly, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to every team who participated, everyone who helped organise and run the day, our fantastic volunteers, our sponsors and supporters, and everyone who donated.

It was brilliant to see the community come together for such an important local cause.
